As you may be aware, there was a constitutional crisis in Italy following the decision to make a Eurosceptic Italian Finance Minister, which resulted in the Italian President to dissolve the government. Just a couple of days ago, this was resolved. However, it is worth noting that one of the parties in this coalition is the far-right wing Northern League, as well as the Five Star Movement.
However, the people of Italy must be careful, especially in regards to the Northern League, as they may be the party to destroy Italy’s sovereignty and hand it over to the unelected and unaccountable European Union, which is increasingly becoming a fascist police state. That’s right, despite denying it and claiming that they are Eurosceptics, the Northern League may actually be the most pro-European Union party in the Italian Government.
Throughout the world (and in particular the Western World), we are seeing the rise of far-right wing parties who claim to represent the people of their own country. People such as Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, Marine Le Pen in France, Donald Trump in the United States of America and Pauline Hanson in Australia. Fortunately, Geert Wilders and Marine Le Pen didn’t get to form government, and Pauline Hanson is heading for obscurity in the Australian Senate. And when we mean fortunately, we really mean it as no doubt Geert Wilders and Marine Le Pen are the most pro-European Union politicians in their own country, despite claiming to be Eurosceptics.
So what is the danger of having a far-right wing government you may ask. Look at history to answer your question, as the far-right wingers don’t care about national sovereignty nor their own people. In fact, many far-right wingers have voted for policies that hurt ordinary people, such as in Australia when Pauline Hanson (along with the conservative government in Australia) voted for “robo-debts”, which makes the fictitious claim that ordinary Australians owed the government money when they (the ordinary people) didn’t owe anything. And look at history, many far-right wing parties supported the formation of superstates such as the European Union. Take this quote from the National Party of Europe, a grouping of far-right wing political movements including the Italian MSI (now Allanzia Nationale) the Reichspartei in Germany and the Jeune Movement in France (http://www.caef.org.uk/whatsaid.html).
Most Europeans are opposed to the European Union, and the far-right – while claiming to be Eurosceptics – will no doubt hide their pro-European Union agenda, promising a referendum on membership of the European Union, but at the same time dismantle their nation-state and hand sovereignty to the European Union. The far-right hate the nation-state, and the (trade) unions, and the poor, and the educated as they are viewed as a “threat” to the status quo which the far-right supports. We cannot trust the far-right with government, especially when history shows that the far-right will sell out their countries to corporations who controls these supranational entities.
We conclude this editorial with a quote from Italian Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, who by the way would’ve supported the European Union had he been alive today.

We now declare with pride our European communion of blood and of spirit that Europe a Nation shall forthwith be made a fact. This means that Europe shall have a common government for the purposes of foreign policy, defence, economic policy, finance and scientific development…In fact, it was Oswald Mosley (from the British Union of Fascists) who was the first to call for an European Union, with Northern Africa to be included in Europe (http://www.caef.org.uk/d140edtrl.html).

Europe may once again grasp the helm of world civilisation if it can develop a modicum of political unity.
