Firstly, Ne News offers its condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families of the latest terrorist attacks to hit London. As highlighted a number of times by Ne News, Muslims are the biggest victims of terrorism, and this fact is evident by the attacks on a mosque in Finsbury Park, which is the end result of rising Islamophobia, not just in the United Kingdom, but throughout the Western World, and this Islamophobia is promoted by the mainstream media.
It is worth repeating that according to the mainstream media, all terrorist attacks are equal, but some terrorist attacks are more equal than others. And while the bombing at a Ariana Grande concert in Manchester on 22 May 2017 and an attack with a van on London Bridge not long after received wall-to-wall coverage in the mainstream media, what happened at the mosque at Finsbury Park has largely gone down the memory hole with very little coverage in the mainstream media. So why have this terrorist attack attracted so little coverage in the mainstream media.
One possible reason why there has been little coverage of this terrorist attack is that the victims were Muslim and the perpetrator (Darren Osbourne) is perhaps a Christian, or a white supremacist, or both. Imagine the reaction from the mainstream media if the perpetrator of this attack was a Muslim and the target was a church or a synagogue? There would be wall-to-wall coverage on television, as well as front-page coverage in newspapers around the world. But because a Christian (or a white supremacist, or both) conducted the terrorist attack and the victims were Muslim, this terrorist attack has virtually gone down the memory hole, and within a few weeks, will largely be forgotten.
A couple of days ago, Europol (the police agency in the European Union) released the European Union Terrorism Situation and Trend Report 2017 (https://www.europol.europa.eu/sites/default/files/documents/tesat2017.pdf), and the largest number of attacks in the European Union in which a terrorist affiliation could be identified were carried out by ethno-nationalist and separatist extremists (99 out of 142), and while not acknowledged by the mainstream media, the number of jihadist terrorist attacks in the 28-member European Union fell from 17 in 2015 to 13 in 2016, of which 6 were attributed to Daesh. But despite this fall, 135 of the 142 victims of terrorism in 2016 were linked to these 13 attacks.
Despite four terrorist attacks in London in the first half of 2017, as well as the hype the mainstream media, it is worth noting that the chances of dying in a terrorist attack is very low at worst, and at best, extremely remote. Regardless of what religion you follow, we must unite to defeat the scourge of terrorism, which is actually sponsored by our governments. There is a saying that if you are scared, you are easier to control. Well, we can't be scared of terrorism because that is what their sponsors (which includes the United States of America, NATO, Israel and Saudi Arabia) wants, and the so-called "War on Terror" has actually caused more terrorism and has killed millions of people for cheaper oil. We need to get out of the Middle East and end this War on Terror now before more people are killed,
