Within the last couple of hours, the regime in Washington started bombing Syria over its alleged "chemical weapons" program. It is worth noting that Syria (along with its allies in Russia and Iran) was close to defeating Daesh when news came earlier this week about an alleged chemical attack by Bashir al-Assad. It is worth noting that it took a couple of months for Syria, Russia and Iran to defeat Daesh, but the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia and NATO has been "fighting" Daesh for several years, but no closer. It should be noted that the United States of America, Israel, Saudi Arabia and NATO has been providing support to Daesh (in fact, there is evidence that Israel has been providing medical support for members of Daesh).
It is expected that Australia will join the fight against Syria. But no doubt that ordinary Australians will be conscripted to fight this war, and that the political elite (both in Australia, the United States of America, France and United Kingdom) won't sacrifice their children in this war, even though they will make the statement that making the ultimate sacrifice is noble.
This war is about making Syria a colony of the United States of America, and to give more power to the regime in Tel Aviv (a regime that the United States of America give more in aid than Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean COMBINED!).
It is also worth noting that in 2003, Western powers went to war against Saddam Hussein over his alleged "nuclear weapons" program, which later turned out to be fictional. Now Iraq is pretty much a colony of the United States of America. And there is a strong possibility that Syria will become a colony of the United States of America, complete with a dictator that will govern for American interests rather than the interests of the people of Syria. But the regime in Washington would be hoping that we wouldn't remember the mess that was the War in Iraq and the lies that legitimised it. And it is also worth noting that the First War on Iraq was based on lies as well (remember the "babies that were thrown out of incubators" allegations made by a 'nurse' that turned out to be the daughter of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Washington and was created by a public relations firm in Washington?).
And while the world sleepwalks into World War III (which won't be fought by the political elite or their children), the media will be talking about Kim Kardashian and the latest on her such as Ms. Kardashian having eggs for breakfast; or coverage of a fight in a supermarket; or an 'investigation' into a con artist.
