BREXIT: Divorcing Britain from EU Trade with Israel Would Help Ensure Future Security of UK

The ability of Israel to continue its illegal settlement on Palestinian land is wholly dependent on profits from its bilateral trade with the EU which is the single most important factor that fuels the illegal occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights by the Right-wing Likud government.

Without the extraordinary agreement that allows a non-European state (in the Middle East) to freely exploit the European Single Market, the policy of expropriating Palestinian land would not be possible and the Israeli government would be forced to sue for peace.

It has been long  established that the Israel lobby exerts considerable influence over the European Parliament’s decisions to not only offer Israel free access to the single market but also to make research grants of billions of euros to the Israeli defence industries that currently export arms to regimes worldwide.

There are many factors that will influence Britain’s decision to leave the EU but the ability to break away from the hold of the Israel lobby on EU trade is of prime importance to both the safety of Europe and to world peace.

The United Kingdom should no longer be associated with a European Union that has already seen the delivery by Germany of a fleet of high-powered, Dolphin 2-class AIP submarines to the Israeli navy that were designed for and subsequently retrofitted with, undeclared cruise missiles (SLCMs) with a minimum range of 1500km and carrying 200kg nuclear warheads.

This astonishing fact has provided Israel with an offshore nuclear second strike capability that has now made it the 3rd most powerful nuclear-armed entity in the world after the US and Russia. It is not known what Chancellor Merkel was thinking when she made Germany itself, and the entire European community with its 750 million inhabitants, vulnerable to an offshore nuclear threat from the Mediterranean or what pressures were applied to the German government that enabled this extraordinary act of apparent negligence that has irrevocably changed the balance of military power in the region.

BREXIT cannot rectify the failure of the EU to have ensured the safety of the 500m citizens in its 28 member states but it is beyond time that Britain now extricates itself from such a dangerously infiltrated, political union.

Britain needs to make urgent plans for the future defence and security of its own people, which is the primary duty of any government and one that supersedes even that of trade and jobs, for without security there is no future.

Trojan Horses and Color Revolutions: The Role of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED)

William Blum William Blum 7 August 2017 Image: Award winning author William Blum This article is a chapter from  Rogue State: A Guide to the World’s Only Superpower  by William Blum published in 2005. How many Americans could identify the National Endowment for Democracy? An organization which often does exactly the opposite of what its name implies. The NED was set up in the early 1980s under President Reagan in the wake of all the negative revelations about the CIA in the second half of the 1970s. The latter was a remarkable period. Spurred by Watergate – the Church committee of the Senate, the Pike committee of the House, and the Rockefeller Commission, created by the president, were all busy investigating the CIA. Seemingly every other day there was a new headline about the discovery of some awful thing, even criminal conduct, the CIA had been mixed up in for years. The Agency was getting an exceedingly bad name, and it was causing the powers-th...

CIA Backed Color Revolutions

F. William Engdahl New Eastern Outlook 1 October 2017 Many readers likely never heard the name of the remarkable Serbia-born political operator named  Srđa Popović . Yet he and his organization, CANVAS, have played a lead role in most every CIA-backed Color Revolution since he led the toppling of Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic in 2000, at least fifty according to last count. Now he has turned his sights on Hungary and Hungary’s popular and defiant Prime Minister Victor Orban . On September 8, the professional regime-change specialist Srđa Popović came to Budapest and joined with the anti-Orban opposition groups in front of the Hungarian Parliament. It‘s clear that Popović was not in town to promote his Hungarian book on nonviolent regime change but rather to give aid to the anti-Orban parties before Hungarian elections in spring of 2018. Many in Hungary smell the oily hand of Hungarian-born regime-change financier George Soros behind the Popović appe...

EDITORIAL: Be Careful Italy

Ne News 2 June 2018 As you may be aware, there was a constitutional crisis in Italy following the decision to make a Eurosceptic Italian Finance Minister, which resulted in the Italian President to dissolve the government. Just a couple of days ago, this was resolved. However, it is worth noting that one of the parties in this coalition is the far-right wing Northern League, as well as the Five Star Movement. However, the people of Italy must be careful, especially in regards to the Northern League, as they may be the party to destroy Italy’s sovereignty and hand it over to the unelected and unaccountable European Union, which is increasingly becoming a fascist police state. That’s right, despite denying it and claiming that they are Eurosceptics, the Northern League may actually be the most pro-European Union party in the Italian Government. Throughout the world (and in particular the Western World), we are seeing the rise of far-right wing parties who claim ...
