Recommended Readings (2016/05/24)

Well, it is the final week of Semester 1, but Ne News will be on during SWOT VAC and Exams period. So for the last time this semester (and before the SWOT VAC and Exams period editions begin), here is this week's recommended readings.

Firstly, the United States is exceptional. And that because the people of the United States (and the majority in the West) are scared, and this is due to constant propaganda designed to scare people (http://www.4thmedia.org/2016/05/america-the-most-frightened-nation-on-earth/; http://www.globalresearch.ca/americans-a-conquered-people-the-new-serfs-russia-and-china-stand-between-washington-and-washingtons-goal-of-hegemony-over-the-entire-world/5526755), and this fear is encouraged by politician and the media. It is worth noting that if people are scared, then they are easier to manipulate, and therefore easier to control. Since the end of the Second World War in 1945, the United States has manufactured enemies to control the people through the fear that the enemy of the day will hurt them, and today, it is Daesh that is threatening to harm the American people, even though the United States government is supporting Daesh (http://www.globalresearch.ca/twenty-six-things-about-the-islamic-state-isil-that-obama-does-not-want-you-to-know-about/5414735). It is also worth noting that 90 PERCENT of the media in the United States is controlled by just SIX CONGLOMERATES: Disney, Time Warner, Comcast, News Corporation, Viacom and CBS Corporation. Note that Viacom and CBS Corporation has the same parent company, which is National Amusements. And in Australia, the recent changes to media ownership laws will see less media players in Australia control more of the Australian media.

Secondly, some good news and that is the crisis within Zionism, the fascist philosophy that controls Israel (http://www.4thmedia.org/2016/05/zionism-begins-to-unravel/). While the Zionists has dreams of a Greater Israel that will control large parts of the Middle East while at the same time, Israel is supporting groups such as Daesh to destroy both Syria and Iraq (major threats to Israel's dreams of domination of the Middle East). But unfortunately for Israel and the Zionists who controls it (and good news for the world), there is a growing number of Jewish people beginning to criticise Israel, and most of the Boycott Divestment Sanctions leaders are Jewish, and Israel wants to kill the leaders of BDS, which was successful in destroying Apartheid in South Africa (which was supported by Israel), and BDS will be successful in destroying Apartheid in Israel.

Third, in the lead up to the Brexit referendum on 23 June 2016, Gerard Batten, an MEP from the United Kingdom Independence Party has stated that the Nazis created a 'basic plan' for the European Union (http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/News/2016/May.html#comment0268). It is worth noting that this view, which is backed by documentary efforts, proves that the European Union experiment is beginning to crumble (which is a good thing) and that the Brexit will accelerate the collapse of this dictatorial entity, which has been cited as a model for other Orwellian constructs such as the African Union and the Association of South East Asian Nations; as well as other potential police states such as the North American Union (which will largely be based on the European Union), which is being negotiated in secret while everyone else is focused on the Kardashians and shows such as The Real Housewives of.... The collapse of the European Union will be a good thing for the world, and the collapse of the European Union (and the New World Order as a whole) will result in a global Renaissance in which the exchange of ideas, cultures, and intellectual debate will replace the trivial such as what the Kardashians has been up to, or the latest of Caitlyn Jenner. Where reading books will replace the supermarket magazines fare (which is mostly celebrity gossip anyway, and in no way affects anyone's lives). Note that Ne News will cover the Brexit on a dedicated Twitter handle on Friday 24 June 2016 from 9:00am to 12:00pm AEST with the radio show from 1:00pm AEST on the same day.

And lastly, there is talks that German pharmaceutical company Bayer will purchase controversial American firm Monsanto, which has been condemned for manufacturing Genetically Modified Organisms (http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-complete-history-of-monsanto-the-worlds-most-evil-corporation/5387964; http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/News/2016/May.html#comment0263). It is worth noting that Bayer was part of IG Farben, which was part of the Nazi war machine in World War II and is behind the latest push to create a European Union, which will be fascist. Get behind your local farmer's market (and check out the Farmers Market on the Concrete Lawn outside Union House tomorrow for the final time this semester) as their foods is organic, and there is research that organic is better for you (http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/News/2016/May.html#comment0239). And did you know that while the boss of Monsanto says that GMOs created by Monsanto is good for us, he eats organic foods?

Until Friday at 1:00pm AEST on Radio Fodder.

Note: Just spoke to the station and yes, we will be on during SWOT VAC and Exams. This means on the show on 24 June, we will be discussing the Brexit. So tune in each and every Friday at 1:00pm AEST during SWOT VAC and Exams for your weekly dose of news.

The French “Patriot Act”: Why is France Extending Its State of Emergency? From Pseudo-Democracy to Dictatorship

Guillaume Kress Global Research 19 February 2016 President Francois Hollande, whose legitimacy stems from nothing but a fraudulent multiparty electoral system , has repeatedly abused his authority  since taking office in 2012 by waging illegal wars in foreign countries (i.e., Mali, Syria) without consulting his electors. [1] He  recently failed to confer with them when his Socialist government responded to last year’s terrorist attacks in Paris by adopting Orwellian domestic policies – policies that have allowed the Hollande administration to spy on citizens , block websites containing “terrorist related content” , strip convicted “terrorists” of French citizenship , and criminalize activism against Israeli occupation .[2] These policies prevent the spread of information which may expose the government’s criminal activities. We should note, here, that the state of emergency greatly facilitates political corruption. [3] To put it briefly, the state of...

EDITORIAL: Be Careful Italy

Ne News 2 June 2018 As you may be aware, there was a constitutional crisis in Italy following the decision to make a Eurosceptic Italian Finance Minister, which resulted in the Italian President to dissolve the government. Just a couple of days ago, this was resolved. However, it is worth noting that one of the parties in this coalition is the far-right wing Northern League, as well as the Five Star Movement. However, the people of Italy must be careful, especially in regards to the Northern League, as they may be the party to destroy Italy’s sovereignty and hand it over to the unelected and unaccountable European Union, which is increasingly becoming a fascist police state. That’s right, despite denying it and claiming that they are Eurosceptics, the Northern League may actually be the most pro-European Union party in the Italian Government. Throughout the world (and in particular the Western World), we are seeing the rise of far-right wing parties who claim ...

Big Pharma: An Example of the Best ‘Democracy’ Money Can Buy

Monica Cruz Liberation News 23 May 2018 The U.S. government constantly vilifies Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and other governments it opposes, claiming that they are not democracies. Republicans and Democrats alike warn of “oppressive regimes” while telling us that the U.S. is a true democracy, and everyone here has a say through voting. But a closer look reveals that the deciding factor in U.S. “democracy” is not the vote at all, but the dollar bill. Policies are made and unmade not because of the number of votes they get, but because corporations spend hundreds of millions of dollars on ‘lobbying,’ and other ways of paying off law makers to pass the laws they want. Take the pharmaceutical industry. Virtually everyone takes medication at one time or another, and access to medicine can mean life or death. Many people cannot afford medication. In a recent poll, the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 80 percent of people in the U.S.  believe drug c...
